Homemade water drill constructed from a 36" length of pipe, a brass tip with 1/4" hole, and a hose fitting with ball valve. Intended to facilitate the process of digging caliche.

this reminds me of a jet drill we used to set dock pillions in water. we used over 100 psi out of a 3/4 inch opening and as was described its messy but very effective. you can also wash out existing posts or set them deeper using this tool
