Homemade work holder constructed from 3/4" plywood. Threaded rod connects the chuck to a standard trailer ball hitch.

I'm always intrigued when I see a trailer ball involved...but I am a bit perplexed...it holds work that has 3/4" or 1" female threads? Is that right?
