DESCRIPTION:
Homemade valve spring compressor constructed from a combination wrench and a deep socket.

To prevent the valve from falling into the cylinder:
- Turn the piston associated with the valve to about halfway up the cylinder on the compression stroke.
- Remove the spark plug and feed some nylon rope into the plug hole making sure you are feeding enough through so that when you turn the piston through to TDC the bunched rope holds the valve in place.
- You can now remove the spring retainer without losing the valve down the cylinder.
