DESCRIPTION:
Homemade Stirling engine generator constructed from plywood, stainless steel, and aluminum. The alternator and rectifier were also handbuilt, and the device can be powered by a candle, an alcohol burner, or a propane torch.

Fascinating device. You'd have to scale this up a bit to make it practical though.
