Homemade inverter generator constructed from a small gasoline engine, a pair of alternators, isolator switch, fault light, and a 2500W inverter.

What's the purpose of running two alternators? If he were charging a boatload of batteries maybe but one alternator is more than capable of handling the invertor shown.
