Homemade cutoff saw comprised of a portable bandsaw mounted on a hinged plywood base. Equipped with a drill press vise.

It works OK on bar aluminum and brass bar stock of up to 2 square inch cross section. When I try to cut a thin disk from a 3 inch diameter bronze rod, I have trouble keeping the cut square. After making this, I saw that Little Machine Shop has a similar machine, but with steel frame.
