    Great, But, it needs to be able to rotate 90 degrees as well. Sorry to seem like a sour puss.
    I like the concept a lot, as in the mini Lathe/Mill this could be a valuable accessory.

    First off impressed with the workmanship and the idea in general!!!

    As for rotation that is up to you but this little guy will be fine for many shop uses. AT work we have the traditional 1 inch wide belt grinder and it is never used in any orientation other that upright. Even then that 1" wide belt and the fixed speed makes delicate work problematic. Making this little guy variable speed will be a bit pay off.
