So many thoughts as I skipped through the video, #1 was turn off the music, #2 I wished U-Tube had a 4x speed option. #3, I guess we have learned a lot about building equipment since the '80's.
some random observations as I skipped through.
31:31, hope they remember to remove those cables holding the track slack up off the ground before the move it.
32:06, OOPS, it won't start, have to pump up that primer.
34:19, Whew, it finally started, that would have been embarrassing!!
34:37, they did remove the track cable.
36:06 they had more axles hidden under that trailer, they would have to steer with that many.
36:37, no wood under the tracks. Those grousers are going to leave a mark!!
37:10, Ah it is a gravel pad..
38:01, enter the "suits" for photos!!!
38:40, begin final assembly of power plant, install exhaust pipe. Just push it on, then give it a wiggle to make sure is it tight. yep that will hold it!!!
39:17, "Rollin some coal". better get those guys off the tracks!!!
39:39, WHAT? No back up alarm!!! Call the OSHA guys..
48:31, if we hide is under this bridge, maybe no one will see it?
52:54 wonder if they ever put the blade on the machine and pushed dirt with it?
53:25 its "New Home" I wonder if it is still sitting there?
hemmjo; yes it was used on 1 job in Italy. Even though it was never delivered to the intended buyer due to circumstances. it was taken to a job site and used but it was too expensive to be transported from job site to job site. It would have been a good choice to send it to a large mine for long term use but stuff happens.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
