    Sorry I messed up your plans. I was briefly stationed TDY at Aberdeen Proving grounds MD. in 73 while there I visited the ordnance Museum they have the German Krup K5 Railway gun there not as huge as the Schwerer Gustav but an impressive gun none the less. If anyone is ever in that area they owe it to themselves to make time for a day long or more visit

    that's not a shell it is just the bullet the big guns use the same system as the battle tanks. no shells just powder charges .
    A lot of artillery pieces are no longer using cartridge based ammo

    I think it is a "sure way to break your wrist" gadget.
    He should have learnt from Danny Glover's cliche "getting too old for this s...", but then again "if you gotit: flaunt it".

    He enjoyed the recoil demolition of camera to boot.
