    Workbench accessories bushings

The idea is similar to that of the http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/l...2685#post76775, but here the purpose is to adapt the accessories made for the http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/b...3325#post77840 (5/8” bench dog holes) to the workbench and the Workmate (3/4” bench dog holes). An example of these accessories is the http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/h...3537#post78246, which is shown in these pictures.

They were also made in the Unimat lathe, with discarded bronze plumbing pieces. All I had to accomplish is a 3/4” OD, and an ID of 5/8".

Thank you for your Unimat lathe machining examples. Are you using your Unimat spindle driven power feed for the excellent machined surfaces?

Thanks, Paul Jones. No, the carriage was driven by hand. After machining, the bronze was polished.
Alike the lamp bushing, these bushings could be machined from some round material, but besides I saved more than half of the lathe work, it is satisfactory to transform a waste element into something useful.
