Woodworking Newbie

I have always appreciated fine woodworking, but only very recently gave serious thought to making a commitment to become a woodworker myself. My first effort will be to rid my garage of long accumulated, yet unused stuff that needs to be gotten rid of to clear out space for my workshop. I am also looking to restore inexpensive vintage hand tools back to working condition to give me a good variety of quality tools, at a reasonable cost, to start working with. I love the idea of making my own tools and can't believe I found this website dedicated to this very task. Looking forward to making some tools and getting started in the craft of tool making and woodworking.
