A wooden vise for instrument making

I didn't look too far for inspiration, but I made this one (nearly) entirely of wood, except the slides and the screw.

Funny, no ? But it is very usable in practice, I use it every day.

The interest of this kind of vise, for those who are not familiar with, it's the soft jaws that allow to grip even on a finished piece, and the fact that the jaws are not parallel, they can rotate and follow the geometry of the piece.
The opening also, is quite deep.
