    Nice construction on your home made wood lathe. I have been following along on your builds and great to see the finished lathe. Is the blue cap on the spindle block a pilot light to let you know when the power is connected?

    Great looking lathe, looks like a great deal of thought went into this. What size bowl can you turn on this? ANOTHER project on my bucket list. NOW I want to make one

    Hello Excelion, Just some brown hammered Rustolem spray paint from home depot. by the way I up graded this lathe to a dc tread mill motor and controller so I could change speed on the fly. thanks for looking...Cap.
