Got sick of both versions available from NAPA et al. Neither was stiff enough to pull through the
galvanic corrosion between the steel serrated shaft and aluminum wiper arm. Both types threatened
to bend off axis, putting the "hard to find" old swedish arm wiper arm at risk.
A piece of unistrut, a 1/2" fine pitch weld nut, and some rescued stock from a piece of 3/16" wall
steel tubing and some noodling with silicon bronze filler, ox/acety torch and a couple of
grinders brought this crude, but extremely effective little "purpose built" press tool into the world.
No substitute for stiffness.
And voila! I'm over the "post something or lose your ID hurdle".
