The Windows 10 operating system comes with the application "3D Builder" already installed.

3D Builder is a 3D computer-aided design tool for Microsoft Windows that makes it easy to create, view, edit, and 3D print 3D objects. It first came with Windows 8.1 and has been improved to run on Windows 10. It can also run most Windows OS on various platforms such as desktop, phone, Holographic/HoloLens, and XBox.

The app supports several 3D printing formats but defaults to the 3MF format.

3MF is an XML-based data format designed for using additive manufacturing, including information about materials, colors, and other information that cannot be represented in the STL format.
