    Wheel adapters for tractor

My old Schramm 300 Pneumatractor has been sitting on blocks for the past 6 years waiting for me to find tires for it So I can move it without having to carry it.
Well I came into 8 385 70- 22.5 trash truck tires which are the same size the Grayhound and Prevost buses and coaches run
So I was thinking hey they are only 3 inches smaller in diameter than the agg tires it once had and they are a couple inches wider as well. Wide is good for the sand out here and besides it is not like the tractor was designed for agg work anyway. with the 300 CFM air compressor connected to the engine and the transmission powered by a hydraulic pump and motor.
The only problem was the rims were 10 hole truck while the tractor only had 6 hole mounting. This meant I would have to make adapters

Let's see some more pics of the tractor! What will you use this one for? What was it typically used for?

Kent; the Schramm company was primarily a company that manufactured industrial air compressors They stared out making towed compressors then came up with the idea to make them self propelled One very popular combination was a 160 CFM towed pulled behind a 160 pneuma tractor the tractor had half its engine for power the other half was the compressor, these ran on gasoline. the Diesel models used a separate engine and compressor combination.
The HT300b was as near as I can find out made from 1967 through 1985. As near as I can tell I believe mine to be a 1969 model as any retrievable information on them is sketchy at best having mostly to rely on tractor forums for information.
This tractor came with a backhoe attachment with a very long boom and stick not used for digging purposes very much unless a small bucket wad mounted on it. since it just didn't have a lot of break out or lift power. It wasn't designed for digging anyway the 300 cfm compressor powered a huge pneumatic jackhammer. It wasnt' until sometime in the 1980s that hydraulic hammers could even begin to compete in the same size range that is.
I will probably use mine mostly to power a sandblasting operation. since I don't have the backhoe attachment for it.
It is really a bit under powered for its size to be used as an ag tractor and 6 feet longer than an ag tractor of similar power. But I don't need it for that since I have a Ford 8n a case 431 and a Ford 2600 plus a gravely walk behind and 3 lawn tractors
If I ever get around to having the time to build a pumpkin cannon I could use it to chunk pumpkins melon's or bowling balls at the Dallas hunters that invade our county every year during hunting season. Some of them are so bad ranchers around here have been known to paint the word cow on their herd stock.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
