What keeps the lights on....

So I aspire to 'do interesting things'; many are just the day to day projects that keep the home running, I find creative ways to solve problems because it's fun to do and as an engineer, I just can't resist a challenge. I like to have simple tools on hand that can be adapted or used constructively to perform tasks that could be done by buying expensive tools that I can't afford. I've had expensive tools in the past but now manage with the basics. The enemy is age, so I am moving towards aids that get jobs up in the air and off the hard floors. My interests are motorbikes, boats and vehicle mechanics plus whatever the home can throw at me!

Sounds as though you have the benefit of a lifetime's experience! Lots of bike guys around here (me, too!) - what sort of vehicle are you working on at the moment?
