    As a new-to-welding-and-metalwork dude I like the idea of using welding to help with various jigs and doodads especially anything that makes my woodworking easier

    Have started simply welding small rod to bolts to make easy turning t-handles - I have arthritic hands and it's a bugger hand tightening knobs.
