my brother buys the big tool holders and addes dove tails to them. no more buyin the qcp stuff. as well as not having to change the tool in the holder, just swap quickly. he gets them at swap meats cheep..meets.. usualy 1" square or bigger. when I say cheep I mean cheep. many times when there is somebody selling old machining **** peice at a time he makes a very low offer for it "so they dont have to load all the heavy crap back up and can either go home or walk around the swap meet. and more times then not he comes home with a truck load for a few hundrad $. one estate sale he bought the entire room for $300. a like new mill, a lathe , a boring bar, and much more. you have to look at the big picture. always remember nobody around hear wants that kind of stuff.....
