There is a plain and clever ingenuity to these photos, perhaps because gathering water into a container is one of the universal tasks of the human experience. Young, old, rich, poor; from the penthouse kitchens of Manhattan to the village water pumps in rural Africa, this is something that everyone has done before, though perhaps not as elegantly.
The smug smirk and suave stance of the gas station employee in the second photo is pure perfection.
