    Catfish,
The soft jaws looks like something I would like to build. What are the dimensions (diameter and height) of the rare-earth magnets?
    Thanks, Paul Jones

The magnets are Dia 0.315, Thickness 0.117. I bought 100 on ebay real cheap. Very strong.

Now I have an idea of the diameters to get. I've been thinking of getting a batch of neodymium magnets but didn't know what size would be appropriate.

I love the neo mag approach over bolt-on ones. Easier to install and remove.

Nice work on the softjaws. I made replacement copper jaws for a small vise I have. Maybe I should post them, I often forget how many things I have made.
