We took a poll; someone of a gender watched vid and liked it, but said "What if engine won't run?"
Another, while same gender but infused with logic, shot back immediately "Who's changing a tire on a car that DOESN"T run?"
The laughter has finally died down.
Sincerely,

Back pressure from the exhaust system is bad for the engine. That is why they aren't common these days. Used to have one that you pulled a plug, and hooked up the jack to the missing plug port. That one filled the jack with a mix of gasoline vapor and air. Didn't think too highly of that, either.

They're still available as an aftermarket accessory. Usually aimed at off road 4WD enthusiasts, like me. I have one and it works very well indeed. My diesel engine doesn't mind a bit, and the bag has a valve to stop it deflating when you remove the hose from the exhaust pipe.
Need to be aware of protrusions under your vehicle that may puncture the bag, especially if you've done any under tray mods like extra batteries, storage racks, water tanks etc.
