    I happen to have one of those hammers. I was surprised that it is as hard as it is, not really like brass at all.

    I have a beryllium awl I used for "matching" fireworks (adding ignitors). Never had to worry about sparks from that, at least.

    I have a Berylco pipe wrench. I found it near a Naval Ammunition Depot when I was a kid.

    Berylium Oxide is poisonous, so worth keeping an eye out for it
