Right beside me now in my shop is the pencil sharpener that was at my grandparent's farm growing up.
A Boston Champion like this, but with a beautifully contoured penny soldered on to replace one of the thumb levers that broke, probably mid-'60s.
Still use it for every penciled sharpened out here in the shop.

...I'm (quite) a bit OCD when it comes to pencils, having a box each of Dixon Ticonderoga #2 , 2.5, 3 & 4...though with advancing age, 2.5 is the one I use most. Attached is a 'school issue' automatic sharpener, very common in Australia, but I only got this when I was 55! My grandson reckons it's the 'bees knees' and loves to waste a whole pencil... after losing a Dixon, which I can only get from the States, I bought him his own box of Chinese pencils. I'm with you Forrest, the 'newer' one I use daily in the workshop is probably 50-60 years old! Keep em sharp, guys!

...OK, I'll bite...Do I turn the computer upside down or just me?? Seriously though, I get to having the jpg listed in the little 'uploader window', hit the upload button and SWISH!...away it goes into the black hole...somewhere out there are millions of images and documents greedily eaten by the upload gods...and they've got my 3 wee pics...is it a settings thing? I looked high and low on this site and can't find anything...HELP!!

And they wonder why folks are hesitant to save offline on 'the cloud'. Won't ponder what mischief that will initiate. I don't post youtube for that very reason; no control of what they deem related links.

A while back I had the same problem it started after a windozzze upgrade I finally cleared my browser history then did a disk clean up. after restarting my computer and opening the browser I logged back in and was able to up load my pics once more. Don't know if this is your problem or not. Once many years ago while visiting Australia I was using Eula at the time and it gave me fits
