You guys have lost me. For a start Tetanus and Lockjaw are one and the same thing and what has any of this got to do with an old can opener. It’s not “rusty”, it has an age patina but neither of those conditions will give you Tetanus or any other sort of food poisoning. A simpler form of this opener is still sold and widely used in Asia today. My one which is around 50 years old is still in regular use and it works very well. How many of you have a modern tin opener that has lasted that long.
