I am prompted to post this simple device for holding tapered objects in the vice, having recently seen a post on this forum of a vice which was designed specifically to hold tapers. The post showed a tapered rasp or float that the vice held. Which is what mine is doing here.
The device is made from a piece of angle iron with a piece of short round bar welded to it, and this provides the fulcrum.

He's in the UK, where they don't use the correct English spelling of some words...
Perhaps, Baddog, we in the UK use the correct ENGLISH spelling, but not the accepted American spelling!
