    This one would also be cruel to my arthritis/ circulation. Sound like my old 60s lawn mower or seagull.

    The sad thing is it wasn't a one off there were several of the noisy things.
    the stretched leather wasn't a bad idea though. in the event of like was stated a prang other than leather getting ripped and needing sewn up body work on one of the things would only entail some tubular straightening or replacement,
    Of course there is the body bag thing, that works too.

    That is one vehicle I wouldn't want to own.
    When were they made and do they still build them?
    I have a 1972 Land Rover Series III Truck Cab/Pick-Up and a 1962 Land Rover Series 2a Carawagon Camper.
