Not many of these extreme ultra radical builds ever pay out, but this one sold for about double of what he figures he had invested in it
I expect we will see more of it in the future. The way I look at it, it would be the perfect center piece or co- star for a Scify movie maybe one about a planet traveling trucker who attains a certain speed then drives through a portal that will only open up when he reaches max sped but he will ultimately have to come to a screeching halt when he skips onto a planet not set up for high speed portal jumps.

Well it's certainly a step up from the one Dennis Hopper flew in "Space Truckers" (which is a throughly enjoyable B-grade SF flick, if you can ever catch it, with perhaps the funniest 'pull-start' scene in movie history :-)
