If I ever wind up owning or driving a vehicle that needs a garage door opener to unlock it or start it, someone pull me out quick before I enter the twilight zone.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Keyless entry is nice and keyless start is awesome. I got spoiled driving rental Nissan Versas. I put the key in my purse and don't pull it out again until it's time to return the car.

My old-enough-to-drink F150 doesn't have either feature. I don't even have a working door key for it. I don't worry about anyone stealing it though. It has super-effective anti-theft components including a manual transmission and a resale value of roughly equal to two big macs.

And that f150 will most likely still be running long after all key fob vehicles have gone to the junk yard, because of electronic issues I prefer vehicles old enough to run for president. crank windows floor mounted dimmer switches. Mine's got keyless entry though because I never lock it. I never worry about losing the ign. key because I don't remove it unless I have to drive to one of those places where too many people are called cities. Even then wouldn't ever remove the key except some badge might decide he wanted to show off being a badge and write me a ticket for leaving the key in it. I will really like my old military truck when I get it running because it doesn't have a place for a key just turn on the switch and step on the starter peddle on the floor let's see if a youngster can steal that.

I drive a 21 year old Saab, it has remote entry, a manual transmission and a ignition key location that will confound any would be car thief...the best of all worlds, and yes holding the fob under my chin increases remote range.
