    When I started dating my second wife she wanted to make me a birthday cake. I didn`t have a mixer but I had an eggbeater. I cut the crank off and chucked it in an electric drill. Probably would have worked great with a variable speed drill. We laughed about that for years. Took about an hour to clean all the batter off the walls and ceiling.

    If the pair of you STILL are laughing at that, it's a good sign.
    I hear rice and pressure cookers make equal memories.

    Like these;
    We poked through a roadside antique store one time. I hear a extended "Herr Vennn-deis..." trailing off. Her native tongue High German, not English.
    Turning around, I see she's wielding a big rolling pin in a less than serious manner.
    I'm near cast iron fry pans.
    I just stroked my chin "Ja, Frau Vennn-deis?". Had to improvise the accent.

    She had another about wood finishes, we're at the home improvement store.
    I thought she was calling me,"Hon-Hon Hon Honey...".
    Turns out she was recalling color she wanted, Honey Oak.
