I have a bunch of small ceramic magnets I keep around the shop. I used a few tonight as spacers while gluing up some PVC pipe for a project.
I needed to glue a ring around a coupling, evenly spaced at the top.
The magnets just so happened to be the perfect height.
I traced the outline of one of the small couplings onto the top of my welding table and laid a few magnets around the periphery.
I prepped the parts for gluing and set the outer ring in place.
The inner ring just slid into position and, because the magnets were stuck to the table, they didn't move at all.
More in next post.
