    Here’s our old food processor, no good with a cracked jug, but with a variable speed motor. Has anybody converted one? I thought of putting a sanding disc on it.

    Maybe, wait for one of those two bladed mixers to "go south" and join the two to make yourself some sort of light duty lapping machine?

    In any case, show us what becomes of it!
