    I have heard of this exact same thing causing drivers to be cut in half like a guillotine blade would do.

    i have driven a pick-up for many years, and have first hand experience to always secure the load. fortunately always just a scare, never really damage.

    so yeah, twice bitten, once shy.

    but for those who are not used to having to worry about loads in their vehicle - just go and see how often people get an inside paint job for their vehicle, when they have their newly purchased paint unsecured.

    It does, some specialist transport companies have steel rising ramp head-board's that send sheet up over the cab to protect the driver, where the sheet ends up however...
