The 1940 Brocklesby mid-air collision, in which two Avro Anson airplanes collided in mid-air, got stuck together, and then landed safely in a field over Brocklesby, New South Wales, Australia. The two crewmen in the lower plane bailed out. The navigator in the top plane bailed out, but the pilot remained and landed the two stuck-together planes. Everyone survived.
