Here’s a key for squeezing as much as possible from a tube! Even so, there will be some left!
I have admitted before to being niggardly.
My dentist told me not to brush my teeth with bicarbonate of soda, because it will damage the enamel. I was using this, not for economy, but because ordinary toothpaste aggravates my reflux disease (GORD), and can lead to an uncomfortable night. She said it was the brushing which was more important, not the paste. So, on her advice I started using proper toothpaste again. I found that the merest touch of the brush on the paste froths up sufficiently well, and is not too powerful, and is good enough to maintain protection against sensitivity to heat and cold from the many haircracks from the grinding during sleep. (What’s the word for that?)
So really, when I have squeezed the tube to its end, I estimate there’s enough left for a fortnight!
So those adverts showing an inch of paste on the brush are just to get us to buy far, far more than is necessary!
incidentally, I don’t use Autosol on my teeth.
