This Holden WB One Tonner was built by WBTUNNA on AussieV8.com.au.
The 253 motor was replaced by a fuel injected 355 stroker hooked to a 700R4 transmission, and a 9-inch rear with 4.11 gears. The interior was thoroughly restored to grey velour.
When we first started TruckBuilds.net, we considered excluding vehicles like El Caminos, Rancheros, and Holden Utes. A little research demonstrated that this type of vehicle is referred to as a "coupe utility", and it certainly qualifies as a truck. As the internet story goes, coupe utilities originated in Australia when a farmer's wife wrote to Ford Australia asking for "a vehicle to go to church in on a Sunday and which can carry our pigs to market on Mondays".
