    Trolly for sliding bifold door.

In building a back door for my shop I found the need for a trolly like would be used on an overhead crane. I have several ranging from a small half ton to a pair of massive 10 ton trolleys But everything I have was either too huge or smaller than I was comfortable for using to support the bifold door, that and all would have hung down far too low to use without major modifications.
Better to just make one designed for the purpose.
the side plates are made from 1 1/2" x6"x5/16" angle iron the wheels have 6206 ball bearings on 20mm stubshafts 3 1/8" roller dia. with a 4" dia flange made from 3/4" mild steel plate
It turned out so well I almost decided to use it as a trolley for with a 1ton chain hoist it is far stronger than the factory one hanging on 1noe of my jib cranes in the machine shop van

Looks like a nice low profile design so your not wasting headroom. Nice use of snap rings for assembly.

It is a low profile, about as minimal as possible I think

The snap rings will never see any loading and are there mostly just for convenance of assembly Theyt are probably unnecessary since the bearings are lightly pressed into the rollers to an internal flange of the bore then lightly pressed onto the stubshafts . The rigidity of the trolley frame and the direction of the loading the wat it is assembled insures it will never spread away from the beam flange. I used 5 3/8 bolts to secure the 2 halves together and probably could have gotten away with only 2 bolts for no more weight than it will be holding
