In rearranging my electrical panels one of the things needed was a way to hang a 9 KVA 240-460 step up 3 ph transformer on the wall of my machine shop van
the brackets are made from 1/4x3" flat bar some 1/2" bolts and some 1/2x2 flat bar
top left the transformer top right future 460v 3ph panel
middle left 240v single phase main panel cover removed
middle center upper SqD 3ph disconnect this disconnects thew supply to the rotary phase converter there is also a magnetic motor starter and overload relay to allow RPC start up from a wall switch located at the entry door
Middle center lower enclosure for 2nd RPC magnetic starter and magnetic relay to allow paralleling the 2 RPCs
Middle right 240v 3ph breaker panel cover removed
lower center 15 amp RPC and control enclosure for capacitors, cover removed
Lower right 8hp motor possibly to be the 2nd RPC
Since I already had the main panel in service I decided to arrange the rest of the panels and other equipment in this manor power from the main panel to the center disconnect box routing to the RPC through the starter box up to the 240 3ph panel which will have a breaker and a magnetic relay to supply power to the transformer 460v will go directly from the transformer into the 460 panel no single phase wiring in either 3 ph panel as per Nec. no duel 3ph voltage in either 3 ph panel also as per Nema code A lockable mechanical disconnect to lockout all 3ph power production Frank's code also Nec.
