    I am always surprised when meet a certified tradesman that does not know how to do this
    In this video I will demonstrate Checking a block to see if it is square
    A squareness comparator is an essential tool in any machine shop.

    Cosine error...
    I think you mean within 10 deg of the surface being measured, not the body of the indicator.
    Tip angle referenced to the indicator is irrelevant, that is why they are adjustable.
    I may have missed it but the part HAS to be parallel to check this way.
    Good video though.
