I assume they did a salt spray test for corrosion on all exposed parts?

wonder why they didn't elevate the track a few feet.
Also wonder the life expectancy of the equipment.

They mine the salt and load in on the trail cars, it doesn't say but I suspect the rails are mover periodically,
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Apparently, the train is a salt harvester, dredging up salt from the lakebed. The more you know...

At 1:10 in the other video there is a Y in the tracks I wonder you does the switching? I do not see the cars being loaded as they are moving.

    Hi Gang:

Here is more information on this salt lake in Siberian Russia:

    https://siberiantimes.com/other/othe...ink-in-august/

Three eyed shrimp with 11 legs and they swim upside down ( to us??)

The salt would be hard on the tracks and the train parts that get wet. If you look at the locomotive, it seems to be a small diesel switcher mounted on top of a flat car. The track would be left loose on the salt bed and pushed where the best salt is.

    Carl.
