Trailer landing lag repair.

One of the trailers I own half interest in came in off rental this past weekend with a damaged landing leg.
Just needed to do a quick repair so it could be back in service by Monday morning
First I had to heat the top mount and clamp the bottom mount back in place after trimming off the broken welds


That done I removed the bottom 3 inches of the leg and grafted on a piece of 4inch sq tubing

Straightened and re welded the foot then bolted it back in place

When I have more time I want to install 2 new legs since the gears in the 2 speed gearbox on these are getting badly worn
