Do you reckon he bores Ice holes for hire so the fisherman don't have to bother? Maybe he comes back and sets up heated condominiums so they will be comfortable while fishing.
Don't worry I am being facetious I had the displeasure of going ice fishing with a friend once After we finally managed to chop a hole through nearly 18" of ice it seamed. Even with all of my sub artic gear which I had to remove most of it to keep from sweating while we chopped the hole. My dace hands and feet were so numb I thought they were frozen. we no sooner got all out gear back on and a wind break anchored to the ice No roof just 3 sides. the wind must have hit 50 MPH with gale force gusts blowing the lake effect snow everywhere nearly burying us while we tried to patiently sit there like a pair of fools with our lines in the warter hoping something ANYTHING would nibble on our bait.
I would gladly hire someone to drill an ice hole for me if I were crazy enough to do that again.
