Noob here. I love tools of all kinds, but would MUCH rather make one than buy one. I'm currently working on a 73 FJ40. Working on old things is a sickness :>

Welcome - glad to have you here!

It's not a sickness, it's a way of life! Most of my friends have always looked at my projects and said "…but you have to build it!" My reply has always been "I get to build it!" Those few who truly understand are the real keepers.

Lots of guys around here are working on cars (including me!). What's the current project on the FJ?

Current project:

Brakes, bearings in drivetrain, steering, body work (always the bodywork), trying to find parts, trying not to go nuts, cursing the PO.

Been to the 4x4 section - EXCELLENT stuff. I'll post pics when it's not embarrassing (ie. what was I thinking when iI laid out good cash). Still, she's my baby.
