Tool Box Wall Mount Swivel Platform

I used 2 old wall mounted computer monitor mounts. I install a piece of 3/4" plywood to connect them together.
They are supporting about 50# with no problems, it extends from the wall and turns about 45 deg. This setup is a space saver and it has the tools right there when you need them.Tool Box Wall Mount Swivel Platform-toolboxmount1_1.jpgTool Box Wall Mount Swivel Platform-toolboxmount2_1.jpgTool Box Wall Mount Swivel Platform-toolboxmount3_1.jpgTool Box Wall Mount Swivel Platform-toolboxmount4_1.jpgTool Box Wall Mount Swivel Platform-toolboxmount5_1.jpg

That is a great design. I have a couple places where this would be very useful. Thanks for the ideas.

Ingenious. This would be a useful addition to shops with limited floor space.

Everyone of us have space considerations; square feet, access, and various interpretations of dedicated workstations, whether 'for profit' or a hobby space. Bet many people look at those arms and never thought of using them in tandem. Hits me directly, there are lots of ways to utilize this.
My lathe is heavily tooled, and purposely not near a wall. How about a support frame, one end of spindle tools, middle QCTP, with MT at far end? Need to look into weight capacity of arms available. Definitely want extension feature to clear the ways, with tools for job at hand, not to store everything continually.
Using Lyon drawer pedestals on casters now, probably not much longer. Sketching already!

Brilliant! Now I need a time machine to go back and snag the one I saw on the curb a month ago and couldn't think of a use for!

I have at least one of these arms sitting unused in my shop. I now need to find some time to make something similar.
