Greetings all;
Not sure how I ended up here, but sometimes you do find some interesting stops in the journey of life. I grew up reading my brother's stash of Popular Science/Mechanics magazines from the 60's and 70's. (where the hell is the jet pack they promised me?) I've been a tinkerer since then and primarily work in wood and am beginning to dabble in metal machining. I've rented studio space and have been setting up my shop. Some of the items I've built include an electric bass guitar, steam bent snowshoes, 2x72" belt grinder for knives, bee hives, electronics, and a lot of shop tables and furniture. My son also space in the shop creating glass sculptures with a torch.
Looks like I'll need to explore this site for a lot of ideas and inspiration.
Eric
I keep cutting and it is still too short.
