I've written a bunch of software for a couple of the coal mines here in Wyoming that use these trucks.

Fun fact... each tire has its own built in website. The mine Tire Manager gets alerts from the tires whenever the operators do anything that might shorten the tire life... like going around a corner too fast (10mph instead of 7!). Loading coal on the front vs the back of the haul truck change change the tire temperature a bunch, so they monitor that to manager the shovel operators that load the trucks.

And when the trucks were sent to a rebuild shop like the one I used to work at every one of them looked like they had been used as battering rams or were the losers of a demolition derby
a much smaller truck than is normally used today

Most likely a 100 ton Enerpac ram with either electric or air powered pump then sat on 12x12x24 oak blocks stacked in a 24x24 square pattern as a cribbing safety stand. A place I worked at had 100 ton safety stands but they were only used in conjunction with blocking. Our practice was never support steel on steel unless it is welded in place and never 2 block high unless you make a cribbing stack out of it
