    Could be, but Jason Pollock liked horizontal more than vertical in the beginning,
    this guy has a more consistent throw

    Amazed the cement sticks, I have always had problems with making it stick just trying to trowel it on.

    actually throwing it onto the block wall insures a better adhesion than troweling it on. If you watch a stucco mason for any length of time you will note that he will dip his trowel into his batch then sling it in place before troweling it smooth Even brick layers do this with mortar by taping the edge of their trowel on the bricks causig the mortar to dislodge and fall tot eh surface.
    the thing that amazes me is how high this guy throws the mixture depositing it where it is needed

    I cannot imagine what my arm and shoulder would feel like after the first throw to say nothing about covering the wall.
