    Thread cleanup tool

I always have trouble cleaning up the threads on short bolts using a wire wheel. I took a 3/4” nut and welded a large 3/8” flat washer to it. I insert the short bolt, 1/4”, 5/16”, or 3/8” into the backside and thread in a 3/4” by 4” bolt to use as a handle. I now don’t have any problems cleaning up bolts. To clean the heads of the bolts I took a nut of each size and welded the to pipe nipples and that is how I clean the bolt head.Thread cleanup tool-413ea93f-6825-452a-ae35-cbc82e229343.jpg
