Smile From Tennessee I say - Hellllooooo Everyone!!

    Hi everyone,

I kinda stumbles across this site by accident. It was really cool when I discovered that someone had posted a couple of my creations from my YouTube channel. That was great honor .

I've always been a curious person, always gotta be doing something. Even as a child I would rather see what makes a toy work instead of actually playing with it like a normal kid. I messed up a couple game consoles that probably be worth lots of money now. Oh well ...at least I got to see whats inside them .. lol.

Discovering this site and seeing that it has a bike building site attached to it, well I had to be part of the action.

    Chuck

    Hi Chuck,

Welcome - sounds like you'll fit right in!

Are you building any particular tools at the moment? If you've got build threads going for the GSX600 and XS650 projects, we'd love to add them to our BikeBuilds site.

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.

    Thanks a bunch!!

The GSX hasn't fully gone under the knife at the moment (just a couple of "fix it" mods that wasn't documented. I've been concentrating my time on getting my Mustang back together for another daily driver. Got some mods I want to do to the Jeep so I need the Mustang.

The XS frame has been transformed into a "Brat" style but mono-shocked with a Yamaha R1 rear shock. On the PowerAddicts site in my sig is where I've documented most of that. She has been put on the backburner for too long. I've still been gathering "mod" parts for it as I run across them. Hopefully soon I'll get the engine back in it so I can finish building the frame to make sure it clears the engine. So, I guess I get the pictures from the site and just start building the thread on the BikeBuilds? I haven't looked to deep into the bike site yet. The DIY's I do to my Shadow such as installing a chain and oil change .. etc. Is there a place for that? It's not really a build because its already a sweet bike, just an informational "How to" that helps people save money. Because its not a build, it's cool if it's a no go ... just wanted to make sure before I started posting.

I've got a couple of home madetools or tool mods that I can post. Also got some ideas for the "Not a tool" subforum.

    Thanks a bunch!!

Thanks .... Yeaaa! Another Jeep fan! LOL

Here in the past couple of years it seems like Jeeps have been just popping up in family. My dad bought 2 at the same time for dirt cheap. I got the '91 YJ from him. He kept the '06 TJ. My sister has a '91 YJ (4 banger). Friend of mine (more like a brother) got a 2000 TJ. Another buddy with a ZJ ... etc ..

The YJ is the easiest to work on than any vehicle I've ever owned. Very few junk yard parts in this area for it though.

Need to get it done soon. Some parts I wanna make for my Jeep are too large for my regular cooking oven I use.
