that particular big box store can be quite good though - the staff are required to be trained in their fields, a number of them are retired tradies, and the saturday sausage fundraisers are a local tradition... but I couldn't help and laugh at the placement... and equally be a little disappointed at the price.

Not the only instance....HF hangs them among their plumbing tools. I've been involved with a fair bit of 'plumbing', backflow, fire sprinklers, pump stations and more.
I don't recall any tap other than pipe taps, even those were rare. And no decent size will fit those tap handles.
I've said it a million times. Things like this, another result from deleting vocational education. Blanket familiarity has become blatantly foreign.

Bunnings Warehouse.... Australia...Morphed out of a West Australian Timber merchant from the late 1800's to largest individual player in the country with 295 stores/30,000 employees...And as Des says, the local service orgs like the Lions et al, run the best sausage sizzles on the weekends...ya hate em, but you love em...and yea, some of the young casuals might put stuff away wrong...cheers
Jim
